There are no airports in Cuenca. We recommend flying into Madrid and then continuing onto Cuenca from there.
From Madrid to Cuenca:
There are three ways to go form Madrid to Cuenca: high speed train (AVE/ALVIA), regular trains, and buses, though the easiest is train. High speed trains and regular trains to Cuenca leave from Madrid Puerta de Atocha, the central train station in Madrid.
There are several ways to arrive at Atocha from Madrid airport (Barajas): one can take the metro to the stop Atocha RENFE line 1 blue (~50 min)
Alternatively, if you arrive at terminal 1, 2 or 3, you can taje an express bus Linea Expres Aeropuerto for 2 euros (~40 min). If you arrive at terminal 4, you can take a direct train from the airport to Atocha (~30 min)
You can of coutrse take a taxi from the airport to Atocha (~30 euros, ~30 min).
To reach the Parador from the train or bus stations, the best option is taxi.
